How to Install libgpiv3 software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

libgpiv3 software package provides library for Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libgpiv3

libgpiv3 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libgpiv3 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgpiv3 *

You will get with libgpiv3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
